Here's a quick rundown of how I've spent the last thirty years -- music wise.

  • Began teaching piano at 17
  • Music scholarship to the University of Utah
  • Received a BA in Music, with a vocal emphasis
  • Began teaching voice at 22
  • Performed with the Utah Symphony Chorus
  • Soloist with the Tooele County symphony and chorus
  • Spent five years as conductor of the Las Vegas Mormon Youth Symphony and Chorus
  • Spent five years as conductor of the Northwest Children's Choir
  • Have presented workshops, adjudicated competitions and festivals, and taught conducting classes for 25 years
  • Taught AP Music Theory test prep courses for music pre-majors and performing arts students
  • Have done hundreds of arrangements for voice, piano, chorus, and orchestra
  • Have worked with more than 1,000 music students of all ages, in Seattle, San Juan (Puerto Rico), Las Vegas, and Salt Lake City.
